The Shepherd and the Sheep

Shepherding is used as an analogy for pastoral care throughout the Word of God. God gives pastors and band leaders the unique and vital responsibility of shepherding the flock of God and motivating them to continue on their spiritual journey toward perfection. There is a unique correlation between a shepherd caring for his sheep and the pastor taking care of the members.
