The City of God

The City, which is the subject of this discussion, is a very definite structure, but in its present state, as we on earth know and experience it, it is a spiritual one. In its final phase, however, it will be a natural one that is perfect in every aspect, including both the natural and spiritual. There is overwhelming proof of both its present and future existence. Its origin, plan, and structure are creations of the infinite and omnipotent God.

The City of God, which Abraham sought, is a divine creation. It is both spiritual and natural and has very definite dimensions in both aspects. It has both present and future implications for the people of God. God planned it in eternity's past; it exists now, and it will exist in eternity's future.
